This monograph presents the findings from a review of cultural competence assessment tools designed for use at the organizational level. It describes the factors perceived by the developers of cultural competence assessment instruments to influence accessibility and utilization of services by ethnically diverse individuals. The findings contribute to the goal of developing cultural competence in systems of care, wherein participating organizations must support the delivery of culturally competent services and develop collaborative relationships with diverse communities.
