Youth M.O.V.E. National is opening up Board of Director recruitment effective immediately. Youth M.O.V.E. National is committed to a youth-driven approach in representing and uniting the diverse communities in which we live. Young adults under the age of 28, with lived systems experience, are strongly encouraged to apply.

Applications will be accepted from April 8 – April 24, 2015. The search committee is looking for specific skill sets to fill these positions. Ideal candidates would have two+ years of experience as board members and a skill set including some of the following:

• Accounting and financial management 
  • Two individuals with skills in finance and accounting background. Preferably two years plus of experience, degree preferred (not mandatory). 
  • Please include a resume and references 
• Research and development 
  • Two individuals with fundraising and or grant writing experience. Two plus years of experience. 
  • Please include a resume and references 
• Contract management 
  • An individual with contract management skills. Ten plus years experience in managing multiple contracts with a fast growing organization.

• Strategic planning 
  • Experience in strategic planning involving large organizations in a time of growth. 
  • Please include a resume and references 
• Leadership of Youth MOVE Chapters and other Youth Driven Programming 
  • An individual with experience developing and leading programming for young adults
