Learn what Governor’s are thinking about the exchanges

November 29, 2012

Oh Kids Well, we do love you so…

In response to a request submitted by the Republican Governors Association, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius extended the state deadline for declaring intent to establish a State‐based Exchange until December 14, 2012. This extension follows on the heels of Secretary Sebelius’s extension of the state Exchange blueprint deadline to December 14. States pursuing a Partnership Exchange may submit declaration letters and blueprints until February 15, 2013.

The following represents official Governor statements on Exchange plans as of November 26, 2012. This chart will be updated as additional information becomes available.
