Fight for the Equitable Health Care System We Need!
March 20, 2020
Sharing an important message from our partners at Community Catalyst
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has exposed the vast shortcomings of our nation’s health system and the critical importance of affordable coverage and care for all. As we mark the 10th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) on March 23rd, which brought health coverage to 20 million people, the virus makes clear we need to protect the gains we’ve made and continue to advocate for a health system that enables us all to live healthy lives. This is particularly important for people with substance use disorders and/or mental illness, who have greater risk of COVID-19 and still face many barriers to care.
Join us to protect the gains we’ve made and fight for better care.
Starting Monday March 23rd and in the weeks ahead, we encourage you to use and share these resources broadly with your networks to #ProtectOurCare.
