The Network was pleased to see that Congress is forcing President Obama to detail the cuts that will result from a sequester.

Senator Patty Murray (D-Wash), who chaired the supercommittee said in a statement, “Everyone should understand that sequestration is a terrible way to cut spending, so I am hopeful that the more information my colleagues receive about its impact, the more they will be willing to move off of their partisan positions and work with us toward a balanced and bipartisan replacement.”

The Network will detail the line item cuts to SAMHSA funding as soon as we get them.
