California – Mini-Grants Request for Applications – $201,000 in Awards available

To develop a more culturally and linguistically competent healthcare workforce for Californians, the Office of Statewide Planning and Development (OSHPD) funds programs encouraging economically/educationally disadvantaged and/or underrepresented groups pursuing health careers. Mini-Grants fund programs that encourage diversity in the health professions through an annual Request for Applications (RFA) process. This year OSHPD will fund applications from two categories:
(A) Health Career Conferences and/or Workshops and
(B) Health Career Exploration.
$201,000 is available for 15 total awards of $12,000 each (Category A) and $15,000 each (Category B). The RFA is now available and has been posted on the Mini-Grants webpage.
