USF answering the call to address shortage of qualified professionals…

November 21, 2011

To address the enormous shortage of qualified, appropriately trained professionals in the children’s mental health field, the University of South Florida is offering educational and professional development opportunities through a Graduate Certificate in Children’s Mental Health. This interdisciplinary program addresses policy, systemic, and administrative issues related to multi-agency service planning and delivery and is fully available through distance learning for two primary audiences—graduate students seeking specialized training in Children’s Mental Health and professionals in need of retooling in order to keep pace with the fundamental changes that have taken place in the children’s mental health field.
