Think of the Georgetown Leadership Academy as an intensive think tank of the best and brightest in the system of care world, all coming together to work on leadership skills to help them further the concept of a system of care approach in communities throughout the nation. Dang, I get goose bumps just thinkin' about it...

There are only 50 slots available for this jam-packed training event and they will go quickly. Here are the details:

The Georgetown University National Technical Assistance Center for Children's Mental Health in partnership with the Center of Mental Health Services of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, invites you to participate in the 2013 "Georgetown Leadership Academy".  This intensive and interactive, four-day residential learning experience will be held August 19-22, 2013 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. 

  • gain knowledge and skills to serve as agents of change.
  • recognize your capacity to lead regardless of your designated position within your organization/setting.
  • make a commitment to your leadership role.
  • develop strategies to sustain yourself as a leader in chaotic, difficult and challenging environments.
