You Matter is part of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline website and is full of good information on how to get help, get involved and share resources. The Lifeline is funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. It’s a free, confidential hotline available whenever and wherever you need it. Trained counselors provide safe, supportive help 24/7 through the Lifeline’s national network of more than 150 local crisis centers. So, when you call 1-800-273-TALK (8255), your call is sent to a crisis center that’s near you. And, if you want or need referrals for services, those will be near you, too.
