The Kaiser Family Foundation is in the midst of an important survey that is tracking 2,000 randomly selected uninsured Californians as the navigate the health law. There are some troubling results from the initial wave of the survey:
- Many undocumented in California expect Obamacare benefits but they don't realize that the law prohibits any benefits for those without legal residency or citizenship.
- Barely half of the uninsured eligible for Medicaid are aware of it and only a quarter of those eligible for exchange subsidies were sure of it.
