Community Solutions at the University of South Florida is a new national resource for system planning and community capacity building. Formed by research faculty and staff from the USF Department of Child & Family Studies, the mission of Community Solutions at USF is to provide services and training that will equip individuals, communities and states with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively provide behavioral health services and supports to all children, youth and their families.
Fresh with feedback from the 25th Annual Children’s Mental Health Research & Policy Conference, a series of webinars beneficial to anyone involved in developing successful community initiatives and systems of care will be hosted by Community Solutions at USF. Beginning in May, special tracks related to the provision of children's mental health services will include healthcare reform, youth transition, family involvement, school improvement, suicide prevention, and the use of social media.
Presenters include research faculty and scholars, educators, policy makers, youth and families who are integrally involved in shaping the children's mental health field through their expertise in a variety of areas. Visit http://cfscommunitysolutions.cbcs.usf.edu/webinars/
