National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day Hashtag Showcase
Do you know a young adult who can share photos, videos, tweets, and status updates to tell his/her own story about the power of peer support? Young adults can submit status updates, photos, or videos, with the hashtags #IGetSupportFrom, #SAMHSA, and/or #HeroesofHope, from now until May 6th. SAMHSA will highlight three to five of the most compelling messages at the Awareness Day national launch event on May 6, 2014.

KSOC-TV Awareness Day webisode
KSOC-TV, which stands for “Knowledge network for Systems of Care Television” will premier its 2014 series with an Awareness Day webisode. The focus of the webisode will be best practices in the field that support young adults with mental illness and substance use disorders, including young parents and young veterans. The webisode will take place on May 12 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and can be accessed by visiting http://www.samhsa.gov/children/
