Today is #GivingTuesday, and we could not be more excited. This is the day you can make a difference by joining Network faithful all across the country in giving to promote positive dialogue about children's mental health. Here are two important ways your donation can directly support the work of the Children's Mental Health Network:
Oh my, we are now at 128 consecutive weeks of the weekly news digest that provides commentary & analysis on the hottest issues in children's mental health. We provide a forum for meaningful dialogue that honors all perspectives, so you can make informed decisions.
What it costs to produce: Friday Update costs $2,000.00 per week in time and expense to produce. We think it is worth it, and from what we hear from readers across the nation, and increasingly in other countries across the world, so do you. Check out back issues of Friday Update here.
Dialogue series on children's mental health
Faithful readers know that over the past year, the Children's Mental Health Network has been actively fostering dialogue among those with differing opinions on current legislative proposals in Congress. We have actively been engaging mental health advocacy thought leaders in dialogue about how to promote comprehensive mental health reform in America. Unique to our process is that we are holding our meetings in the halls of Congress in Washington, DC, giving congressional staff the opportunity to witness the process of consensus building among advocates. Pretty exciting, Network faithful!
What it costs to produce: Each dialogue costs $4,000 in time and expense to produce. We have done three dialogues to date, and are planning to conduct these dialogues on a monthly basis, but need your support to continue this important work. Learn more about the Dialogue Series here.
