Greetings faithful readers. The 28th Annual Research & Policy Conference on Child, Adolescent and Young Adult Behavioral Health is just over a month away. Oh, did I mention the conference is taking place in beautiful and warm Tampa, Florida? I've got just the thing to motivate you to start packin' your bags today (what else are ya gonna do in 8 feet of snow?). Get your Tampa mojo workin' with some "Spring Fever" Elvis style, get packed, and then get to readin' Friday Update, cuz we got work to do!

28th Annual Research & Policy Conference just around the corner! 
The draft "Agenda at a Glance" is now available for download. We are just over a month away from gathering in Tampa, Florida, and we could not be more excited. You can peruse the full agenda online to see what awaits you - it's gonna be special! Hey, pop quiz - 75,73, 73, 74, 75 - winning lottery ticket numbers? No, but almost as good. These are the projected temperatures in sunny Tampa, Florida during the conference. Just sayin'. Somethin' to think about - especially for our New England and Canadian friends!

SAMHSA is accepting applications for up to $13.6 million for Project LAUNCH Expansion Grants 
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is accepting applications for Project LAUNCH Expansion grants totaling up to $13.6 million over four years. The goals of this grant are to improve communities' systems and services that strengthen parenting competencies and improve children's developmental and behavioral outcomes. 

Exciting news from SAMHSA about a new round of system of care grants 
SAMHSA is releasing another round of the Cooperative Agreements for Expansion and Sustainability of the Comprehensive Community Mental Health Services for Children with Serious Emotional Disturbances. Get on it Network faithful! 

International Bipolar Foundation's Call to Action for World Bipolar Day 
With World Bipolar Day just around the corner, the International Bipolar Foundation (IBPF), an organization that envisions a world free of the stigma surrounding bipolar disorder, is encouraging persons with lived experience, caregivers and the general public to participate in their "CALL TO ACTION" social media project. This project strives to educate the public about bipolar disorder and encourages an open discussion to end the stigma associated with brain illness. Thumbs up from the Network!

NWI gets a spiffy new website! 
Okay, all of you wraparound aficionados, groupies, and Zen masters, it's time to pay homage to the passionate crew who steer the National Wraparound Initiative. Not content to just provide relevant information for wraparound practitioners and researchers, they have gone and prettified their website into a true "before" and "after" makeover that will just plain knock you out. 

Registration deadline for NNEDLearn 2015 is February 24th! 
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration invites community-based organizations to participate in its fifth annual training opportunity, NNEDLearn 2015, to be held April 12 – 15, 2015 in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico. NNEDLearn 2015 offers five training tracks to build skills in evidence-supported and culturally appropriate clinical and consumer practices. SAMHSA pays for training and travel costs! Deadline to apply is February 24, 2015

Request for Proposals: 20th Annual conference on advancing school mental health 
Proposals are now being accepted for the 20th Annual Conference on Advancing School Mental Health to be held November 5-7, 2015 at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana. The theme of the conference is Getting Jazzed about School Mental Health - Celebrating 20 Years of Advancing School Mental Health. The deadline for submissions is February 20, 2015. Hurry!
