Does your employer participate in a matching gift for donations program?
Many employers have foundations that provide matching gifts for donations. You will need to contact the HR department at your work to confirm your donation (to the organization through our donor advised fund) qualifies for the matching program. Your HR department will then either give you physical forms to fill out, or have you fill the forms out online. If the forms are done online, then we will automatically receive notification from the company that a matching gift has been submitted for us to confirm. If you are given physical forms to fill out, you can then mail them to our office address. Once we receive the form, we will fill it out and send it to the Foundation that provides the funding to the charity for the matching program.
