Statewide Family Networks

Statewide Family Networks support, educate and empower families and youth every day.  Our work is essential in making family driven care a reality and supports many of the other work being done in our communities, counties and states.  In the midst of this time of fiscal and other challenges, we can use the SFN Forum on the Children's Mental Health Network to brainstorm, strategize, support one another and share information.  The SFN Forum is a place to come together with other family-led organizations to share frustrations and successes, find ways to encourage families to be involved locally and nationally and sharpen our advocacy skills.  We CAN have an impact.

Project Director's Forum

Leading a complex community-based initiative is challenging work. And if you're doing it right, It can also be lonely work. The Children's Mental Health Network Project Director Forum (PDF) is a place where leaders of community-based system of care initiatives can come for support and experience-based guidance from others just like you across the country. The PDF offers a place to ask hard questions, share frustrations and hear from diverse voices who may simply validate your experience (sometimes that's all you need) or offer the wisdom borne from their own experience. Join us for discussion and debate. Share your two cents and be part of a community where your own trials and tribulations can meaningfully help countless others across the nation.

Youth Coordinator Forum

Finally, a forum for Youth Coordinators by Youth Coordinators:

We have established this forum to be a virtual resource for each other - to share information, work on developing resources that can be used by others, and have an ongoing dialogue about what it means to be Youth Driven. Yep, we said it. Youth Guided is for somewhere else. Here, we talk about how to make Youth-Driven a reality.

Tribal Forum

Have you noticed that someone is missing at your table?  We have. Across the board, tribal families are missing at the table where important conversations are being held about how to improve services and supports for families.  If you are part of a tribal grant and want to dialogue with your colleagues about how to promote the sharing of cultural best practice for serving youth and families then this forum is for you.
